CTET 2021 Exam Notification

Central Board of Secondary Education has released a declaration regarding the CTET exam at its official site. It was published on 23 January 2020. The CTET Exam registration process has been started on 24 January 2020. Every year around in the month of January and August, the CTET Notification has been released.

Because of Covid-19, the CBSE has delayed CTET Exam 2020-2021, but will now organize it on January 31, 2021. The CBSE Board has announced the new timetable for the CTET. CTET Exam Eligibility Criteria 2021

You should know the CTET Eligibility 2021 before applying for the exam. The reserved class will get a relaxation of 5% in the qualifying marks in the academic eligibility of CTET.

Applicant can check the complete eligibility criteria for the primary stage and upper primary stage as the latest CTET Exam Notification from below:

Primary Classes (Class 1 to 5)

For primary levels, candidate must fulfil the criteria as given below:

  • Candidate must pass senior secondary (or it’s equivalent) with at least 50% marks.
  • Candidate have to pass or appear in the final year of 2- year Diploma in Elementary Education OR
  • The candidate has to pass senior secondary (or it’s equivalent) with at least 45% marks.
  • Candidate should complete or appear in the final year of 2- year Diploma in Elementary Education, in accordance with NCTE (Recognition Norms and Procedure), Regulations, 2002. OR
  • The candidate should complete senior secondary (or it’s equivalent) with at least 50% marks.
  • Candidate should pass or appear in the final year of 4- year Bachelor of Elementary Education (B.El.Ed). OR
  • The candidate has to pass senior secondary (or it’s equivalent) with at least 50% marks.
  • Candidate must have a pass certificate of 2- year Diploma in Education (Special Education) *. OR
  • Candidate needs to have a graduation degree in the relevant discipline.
  • Candidate should have a certificate of two-year Diploma in Elementary Education.

Elementary Classes (Class 6 to 8)

You must fulfil the criteria as given below:

  • Candidate needs to have a bachelor’s degree in the relevant discipline that must be obtained.
  • Also, the Candidate should accomplish or appear in the final year of a 2-year Diploma in Elementary Education (by whatever name known). OR
  • Candidate should possess a bachelor’s degree with at least 50% marks that must be acquired.
  • Candidate needs to complete a 1-year Bachelor in Education (B.Ed.) OR
  • Candidate has to complete Graduation with at least 45% marks that must be done in relevant discipline.
  • Candidate should accomplish a year in Bachelor in Education (B.Ed.), in accordance with the NCTE (Recognition Norms and Procedure) Regulations issued from time to time in this regard. OR
  • Candidate should pass Senior Secondary (or its equivalent) with at least 50% marks
  • Also, the Candidate need to pass or appear in the final year of 4- year Bachelor in Elementary Education (B.El.Ed). OR
  • Candidate have to pass the senior secondary (or its equivalent) with at least 50% marks.
  • Along with, you should complete or appear in the final year of 4- year B.A/B.Sc.Ed. or B.A.Ed./B.Sc.Ed. OR
  • Candidate will have graduation with at least 50% marks.
  • Candidate have to pass or appear in a 1-year B.Ed. (Special Education) * also.

How to Fill CTET Application Form?

Eligible applicants can apply an online CTET form to the official CBSE website. The CBSE will post a notification detailing the complete examination schedule and procedure to fill. Applicant need to keep in mind that the CTET form 2020-2021 was available from January 24 to March 9, 2020.

The online application process covers,

Step 1: CTET Exam Registration

  • Candidate should visit the official website,
  • Press on “Apply for CTET Exam.”
  • Enter your personal details in the form, as mentioned in the class 10 certificate.
  • Now, Choose any three exam centers, preferred language, and paper option
  • Here, Fill academic, communication, and other required details and enter security text.

Step 2: Uploading Photograph and Signature

  • After done, upload the photograph in the prescribed format and in jpeg format.
  • Upload the signature in jpeg format.

Step 3: Now, pay CTET Exam Application Fee

  • After the uploading of images, candidate automatically redirected to the fee payment page
  • Here chooses the payment option; whether online or through e-challan
  • For online payment, candidate need to choose a payment gateway (debit card/credit card/net banking)
  • For offline payment, candidate need to download the e-challan and deposit the fee in Canara Bank or Syndicate Bank.

Step 4: Print Confirmation Page

  • Candidate will find a preview of the final page display on the screen.
  • Now print it for record and future processes.
  • There is no need to send the hard copy to the CTET office.

CTET Exam Application Fee 2021

There is an option to pay the application fee by both online and offline modes. The fee structure is differs based on the category of the Applicants as per the new CTET Exam Notification.

Important Dates CTET 2021

CTET Notification: the most recent CTET notification 2020 was released on January 23, 2020.

CTET application form: The CTET application 2020 was started on January 24, 2020, and ended on February 24, 2020. Afterward, the date to apply online was extended again till March 9, 2020.

CTET 2021-2022 Exam Pattern

CTET Exam Pattern has 2 papers – Paper 1 (Primary Stage) and Paper 2 (Elementary Stage)

• Paper 1 is for participants who want to become a teacher for classes 1 to 5.

• Paper 2 is for participants who want to become a teacher for classes 6 to 8.

Participants will be awarded a +1 mark for every correct answer. The negative marking scheme won’t be applicable to the exam.

CTET Exam Syllabus 2021

You need to have the latest syllabus to prepare for any exams. Here we have provided the latest CTET Syllabus.

  • CTET Paper 1 is for Primary Teachers Applicant, and Paper 2 is for Applicant of Upper Primary Teachers. The applicant can also appear for both papers.
  • Paper 1 Syllabus cover Child Development and Pedagogy. It highlighted on educational psychology and teaching of children aged 6-11.
  • Paper 2 Syllabus includes 5 sections viz., Child Development and Pedagogy for children aged 11-14 years.
  • Language 1 and Lang 2, Mathematics and Science, and Social Science are the other four sections.
  • Language 1 and Lang 2 will contain questions from comprehension and language development.

Note that Paper 1 and 2 both has 2 Language sections – Lang I and Lang II.

CTET Admit Card 2021

CTET 2020-21 Admit Cards has been tentatively published on January 13, 2021, on the official website of CBSE.

You need to check the particulars on the admit card. It is necessary to match the details given on the confirmation page. You need to check all the details on the Admit Card properly and if you found any discrepancies then report to the authority regarding any corrections.

  • You should visit the official website of CTET, i.e., ctet.nic.in
  • Now, click on , “Admit Card.” option
  • Here, enter Registration Number and Password

How to Download CTET Exam Result

Important Notes: CTET Eligibility Certificate is valid for seven years from the date of result declaration for all candidates. You can attempt multiple times for CTET.
