National Youth Day is celebrated in all schools, Colleges, Educational institutes in India Every year. The logic behind the celebration is to update the youths regarding the lifestyle of the Swami Vivekanand. The Indian Government declared this as National Yuva Diwas because of his vital thinking, his way of living life and his ideology could be a great source of inspiration for youths.

The former Prime Minister of India Mr. Manmohan Singh also conducted the Ceremony on the 150th Birthday of the Swami Vivekanand and also launched the Value Education Project of Ramakrishna Mission.
