One will have to register for the Foundation Course which is offered by the Institute of Charted Accountant of India (ICAI). Foundation Study Period: After the registration, One will have to study for 4 months to appear for the examination. After that, you will have to fill the registration form to get CA Admit card.

Validity of Foundation Course: The CA Foundation Course is valid for three years. This exam held twice a year. One can appear or 6 times. After the 3 years, The registration will expire, you can reevaluate it with nominal fees.
