Eligibility required for IPS (Indian Police Service):
- In order to apply for the vacancy, A candidate must have done graduation in any stream from any Government recognized University/ Institute or College.
- The age of the candidates should be at least 21 years old while applying and it should not be more than 32 years old for the General Candidates.
- There is some relaxation that has been given to the candidates who belong to the OBC (Other Backward Class) or SC/ST (Scheduled Caste or Scheduled Tribes) etc.
- Check the official notification when the vacancy is released Because the relaxation criteria keep on changing every year.
- SC/ST: 5 years of Age relaxation
- OBC: 3 years of Age relaxation
- The age limit criteria will be the same for male and female candidates.
