National Youth Day is celebrated in all schools, Colleges, Educational institutes in India Every year. The logic behind the celebration is to update the youths regarding the lifestyle of the Swami Vivekanand. The Indian Government declared this as National Yuva Diwas because of his vital thinking, his way of living life and his ideology could be a great source of inspiration for youths.

Swami Vivekanand believed that education is the only source to build a better society and a better nation. Education is the primary means of empowering people. As per Swami Vivekanand, real education instilled Human Value and strength of character in students.

The former Prime Minister of India Mr. Manmohan Singh also conducted the Ceremony on the 150th Birthday of the Swami Vivekanand and also launched the Value Education Project of Ramakrishna Mission.

Ramakrishna Mission is an Organisation that has been established by the Swami Vivekanand which works in the area of value-based Education like Women’s Empowerment, Cultural Education and Health Education, etc.

When National Youth Day is Celebrated

12th January is the Birth Date of the Swami Vivekanand. It is celebrated every year as National Youth Day in schools, colleges, and other educational institutes. The students celebrate this with music, dance and other cultural activities, etc. All the plays that are conducted in the schools and colleges are with Aim to inspire the youths to do better and some extraordinary in their lives.

There is nothing to do special on this day. We just need to read the ideas of the Swami Vivekanand and implants in our daily lives. We must implant those ideas into our lives to make a better society and a better nation.

Everybody has their own goals and own aim to live life. e. Make your life better or better. Make it inspiring for others. India is a country where lakhs of people sleep hungry. If God has given you enough money to survive. It is our duty to not let anyone sleep around us hungry.  The real education is always seen in behaviour.  And it can be only changed from education.
