BSF Educational Qualification
Sub-inspectors must have passed 12th grade. For SI at the workshop level, a bachelor’s degree is required. Head inspector and constable positions require a minimum of 10 degrees.

Border Security Force Salary
The Salary for a sub-inspector will vary depending on the age. Head constables will receive Rs 25500 and Rs 81.1100, while coppers will get Rs 21700 and Rs 69.100.

MI Fleet in BSF Air Wing
Each post is unique and determines eligibility for MI Fleet in BSF Air Wing. The maximum age limit for MI Fleet in the BSF Air wing is 56 years. There is a requirement for flying experience depending on the position. You can find the official notification detailing the eligibility requirements for each post.
Senior Inspector (Engineer Driver)
- Candidates must be between 22 and 28 years old to apply for this position.
- Candidates must have passed the 10+2 exam from an Indian board of education.
- Candidates must have a certificate of first-class engine driver issued by the state, central mercantile maritime department, or inland waters transport authority.
Senior Inspector (Workshop).
- Candidates must be between 20 and 25 years old.
- Candidates must hold a degree in mechanical engineering from an Indian University or a three-year marine, mechanical, or automobile engineering diploma.
Head Constable (Master).
- Candidates must be between 20 and 25 years old.
- Candidates must possess a Serang Certificate and a matriculation certificate from an Indian board of education.
Senior Inspector (Master).
- Candidates must be between 22 and 28 years old.
- Candidates must have a 10+2 certificate or an equivalent issued by an Indian board of education.
- Candidates must also have a second-class master certificate issued by the state, central mercantile maritime department of the inland water transport authority.
Head Constable, (Workshop).
- Candidates must be between 20 and 25 years old.
- Candidates must have a 10+2 certificate or an equivalent issued by an Indian board of education.
- Candidates must have a diploma certificate from an industrial training institute in the trade they are applying for.
CT (Crew).
- Candidates must be between 20 and 25 years old.
- Candidates must have a matriculation certificate or an equivalent education certificate from an Indian board of education.
- Candidates must have at least one year of experience operating a boat with less than 265 HP.
- Candidates must be able to swim in deep water alone and submit an undertaking certificate (Annexure D – 1)
