The celebration of Republic Day 2021 will not be the same as earlier. There are many changes have been made due to the coronavirus. The Bangladesh Army will also take part in the republic Day 2021 Parade in memory 50th Anniversary of the 1971 war of liberation.

The Republic day celebration of this year will be for a shorter duration. The marching contingents will be smaller and cultural events will be only fewer. Every year the Parade used to cover around 8.2 kilometers but this will cover around 3.3 kilometers. The parade will start from Vijay Chowk every year, It will be the same this year too but it will end at Nation Stadium instead of ending at Red Fort.

The Number of Spectors has been also reduced. Every year around 1.5 lakhs people used to watch parades at the Rajpath, New Delhi. This year it has been reduced to 25,000 only. There would be no permit to the elders with co-morbidities and children below 15 years.
